Courtney Love must have had a moment of clarity. The Hole singer is backtracking after starting a major row with estranged daughter Frances Bean and former Nirvana member David Grohl. Last week, Love made some pretty creepy allegations via Twitter, claiming that the Foo Fighters singer had "hit on Frances" and that Grohl was "sexually obsessed" with her late husband Kurt Cobain. She also went on a tirade lambasting Grohl for allowing Nirvana's song "Smells Like Teen Spirit" to appear in The Muppets film last year. Love Tweeted, "Unfortunately, Dave is on another Kurt rant, by turning him into a Muppet and hitting on his daughter." There's no love lost between the widow and Grohl, who have long-running feud since Cobain killed himself. Unfortunately, Frances Bean got caught in the crosshairs this time. The 19-year-old, who was legally removed from her mother's custody three years ago, blasted Love for her latest rants saying, "While I'm generally silent on the affairs of my biological mother, her recent tirade has taken a gross turn. I have never been approached by Dave Grohl in more than a platonic way. I'm in a monogamous relationship and very happy." Frances Bean is engaged to the lead singer of The Rambles, while Grohl is a married father of two. Grohl's rep tells E!, "Unfortunately Courtney is on another hateful Twitter rant. These new accusations are upsetting, offensive and absolutely untrue." Following the denials, Love did an uncharacteristic 180 and apologized (sorta), Tweeting, "Bean, sorry I believed the gossip. Mommy loves you."
