It was another tumultuous week for troubled starlet Lindsay Lohan. Just a couple days after d-bag dad Michael Lohan had police perform a welfare check at her apartment, Lohan has been fired at the only prospect of work she had. The actress was set to star in her first major film in three years alongside Woody Harrelson, Giovanni Ribisi, Dave Matthews and Alanis Morissette. However, it appears that in light of her hard-partying behavior, the film's creative team has gotten cold feet. Writer and director David Michaels says Lohan won't be a part of the film. According to Michaels, "Our team simply chose to move on from Lindsay, and we'll soon be announcing a replacement." Supposedly, the people backing the film financially didn't want to put any of their eggs in Lohan's basket, seeing how the only press she's generating these days is over her nightlife. Last year, Michaels stood by his decision to cast Lohan believing she was getting away from the scene of her crimes, "Lindsay's very aware of people's perceptions of her. She's really committed to doing what she has to in order to change that." Of course, the 23-year-old has done nothing to rehab her image - or herself - at this point. As if being out of work isn't bad enough, Lohan is now being named as a possible suspect in the theft of a $35,000. TMZ says that a friend left the watch at Lohan's house and never got it back. Knowing Lohan's inclination for sticky fingers, it's hard to believe someone would leave a bottle of aspirin in her presence, yet alone a Rolex watch. Of course, Lohan's lawyer Shawn Chapman Holley maintains the accusations "are completely untrue."
