Lindsay Lohan started the new year on an old note -- it was filled with drama. According to TMZ, an unfamiliar man decided to play the knock, knock game with the Mean Girls actress. But the 24-year-old was in no mood to play, boy. The older guy knocked on the door of Lohan's Venice beach home around 6:30 p.m. When Lohan questioned his intentions, he responded cryptically, TMZ is reporting. It was enough to freak the actress out. She asked him to leave, but he flat out refused and told her to open the door. Police were contacted about the stranger and showed up to arrest the man for trespassing. He was subsequently booked following the incident. So far, no word on whether he was a stalker, an overzealous fan, a paparazzo or someone merely trying to serve her a subpoena. Whatever the case may be, it likely wasn't anything good.
