Serial party girl Lindsay Lohan bypassed her uncle's funeral over the weekend -- and it was likely in the name of alcohol education. And by alcohol education we mean hanging out at the Chateau Marmont and nightclub Drai's hotspot and getting her drink on. While Lohan had supposedly crammed in a handful of alcohol-diversion treatment classes last week to ensure she doesn't end up in the clink, it hasn't stopped her busy social schedule. It appears even death can't put the party on hold. Lohan flew to New York to be by her mother's side last week, following the sudden death of her uncle Chris Sullivan. Although Sullivan had been ill for awhile, his passing was unexpected, according to Radaronline. Instead of sticking around for the funeral , she headed for the hills before the rituals got underway. And she didn't waste any time painting the town red. Lohan deplaned at about 10 p.m. on Friday night and made one brief stop at home before arriving at Chateau Marmont. Perhaps she figured that her Tweet calling the uncle "amazing" was enough as far as paying her respects. We're certain mom Dina will jump to her daughter's defense quicker than you can say, "Another round, please!"
