Lindsay Lohan Courting Jail Time

Lindsay Lohan would probably kill for a drink right now. Today's stressful court session included lots of drama, with Lindsay breaking down a few times...most likely due to her father's presence. Yes, Daddy FameWhorebucks showed up to "support" his daughter by submitting a letter to the court, an effort that made no impact on the outcome. Lindsay did score a lucky break when Judge Marsha Revel decided not to admit any evidence that Lindsay was drinking on the night of the MTV Movie Awards when her SCRAM bracelet went off. Prosecuting attorney Danette Meyers wanted to put witnesses on the stand who claimed they'd seen Lindsay drinking, but no dice. However, after testimony from officials at the Right On program, where Lindsay was required to attend alcohol education classes once a week, it looks like Judge Revel is ready to throw the book at her. Cheryl Marshall, a co-founder of the program, did not report Lohan to be in violation of the judge's order, even after she missed nine classes and made up an undisclosed number. It is believed that Lilo made good on the judge's orders, but there's no documentation because Marshall claims she wasn't asked to document it. She does say Lindsay was "disrespectful" and full of excuses for skipping out. Judge Revel was unsympathetic to the excuses Lindsay threw her way -- including the laughable one about having to "work" -- and threw the book at her. Lindsay must serve 90 days in jail, beginning July 20. She shed plenty of crocodile tears over the verdict, but Lilo likely won't serve the entire 90 days. A sheriff's spokesperson tells TMZ that a female inmate in Lindsay's situation likely would serve about 25 percent of her sentence -- in other words, about 23 days.
