Mom-to-be Lily Allen has little to smile about these days. The British bad girl suffered her second miscarriage in three years. The 25-year-old was due in January and just announced that she would be having a baby boy with boyfriend Sam Cooper. The tragic news of her loss comes a few weeks after she announced the baby's gender. A rep for Allen issued the following statement to People, "It is with great sadness that we have to confirm that Lily Allen and Sam Cooper have lost their baby. The couple ask that their privacy be respected and that they be left alone at this deeply distressing time. No further comment will be made." Allen's first miscarriage was almost three years ago with then-boyfriend Ed Simons. Allen has been very vocal about her desires to be a mom, explaining that it's "ultimately my main goal" in life. Allen was around six months pregnant.

The stress of losing the last child may have been resting on her heart. She may want to try having the next one via a surrogate. Sometimes emotions, especially ones of loss, can cause your body more harm then one would think.
