"How Do I Live" singer LeAnn Rimes wants to learn just that. So like many other rich and famous celebrities before her, she is checking into rehab supposedly to develop some coping skills. Rimes' rep Marcel Pariseau tells People magazine the 30-year-old singer, who has long been plagued with rumors of an eating disorder, has "entered a 30-day in-patient treatment facility to cope with anxiety and stress." Although Rimes is constantly barraged by criticism of her waif-like figure, her peeps maintain that her decision to undergo treatment has absolutely nothing to do with any food, drug or alcohol issues. The only thing eating her is plain, old-fashioned stress. And doesn't everyone go to rehab for that? Says the rep, "While there will be speculation regarding her treatment, she is simply there to learn and develop coping mechanisms. While privacy isn't expected, it's certainly appreciated." Rimes herself is sugar-coating the decision to check into a facility the day after her 30th-birthday, describing the decision more as a tune-up than a course of treatment, "This is just a time for me to emotionally check out for a second and take care of myself and come back in 30 days as the best 30-year-old woman I can be. All the things in my life will be there when I get out, but you know what? I'm hoping they're not going to affect me as much. I'll have the tools to know how to deal with them." Rimes' hot hubby Eddie Cibrian is standing by his woman, singing her praises to People, "My wife is the most remarkable and courageous woman I know. I am so proud of her for having the strength to finally take some time for herself. I will be with her every step of the way." During her rehab stint, Rimes won't have much downtime. Pariseau adds that it will be business as usual for the stressed-out singer, "The facility has granted her permission to keep her weekend tour obligations, as LeAnn doesn't want to disappoint her fans. She will report back after each weekend."
