Some people go on a diet to prepare for their child's wedding, but not Kris Jenner. The made-for-TV mom went to extreme measures by undergoing major surgery to prepare for daughter Kim Kardashian's summer wedding. The 55-year-old momager and reality star wanted to put her best face forward, so she opted to go under the knife. Of course, it just wouldn't be Jenner if the entire thing wasn't caught on camera for E!'s reality show Keeping Up with the Kardashians. Currently, promos for the episode featuring Jenner's surgery are airing. In the previews, Jenner worries that she might not make it through the surgery. Daughter Kim reassures her that scared people get cut all the time telling her mom, "Don't cry. If you're scared, you don't have to do it. I'm sure people are scared all the time." To no one's surprise, Jenner made it out alive. Although Jenner underwent the surgery more than a month ago, she managed to keep it under wraps. Daughter Khloe is giving the results rave reviews. She recently told The New York Daily News, "She looks amazing. They say you are supposed to have a lot of swelling for a week or so after, but I didn't notice." Kim will tie the knot with fiancee Kris Humphries on August 20.
