It looks like the last laugh is on Kathy Griffin. The controversial comic says she's once again been banned by the Today show after slighting Natalie Morales. In the past, Griffin has supposedly been on the D list, thanks to hosts Katie Couric and Matt Lauer. Griffin maintains that both had personal problems with her, issues that have since been resolved. This time around, Griffin claims it's Morales who has landed her on the Today show chopping block. Griffin tells USA Today, "I just want you to know, over the years since Suddenly Susan in 1996, I have been banned and re-banned from the TODAY show by several people. Katie Couric at one point. Matt Lauer at one point. This time my camp heard that it was actually Natalie Morales." Griffin reveals that she has been accused of snubbing the correspondent at the Golden Globes, which is ironic because she wasn't even there. Griffin explains, "But I did go to Golden Globes parties, which I didn't really belong at, so I know for a fact that I did a few interviews there, but I really knew that it wasn't my place to even be there." After being questioned about Griffin's comments, Morales shot down the rumors on her Twitter account simply stating, "No. Total bogus PR." Reps from Today also supported Morales, explaining that there is no ban against Griffin. They state, "The idea that Today show anchors and hosts ban guests from appearing on the show is silly. There was no incident between Natalie and Kathy at the Golden Globes or anywhere else. In fact Natalie is a big fan of Kathy's." Griffin is currently promoting season six of her Bravo reality show My Life on the D List.
