It was hardly a good day for L.A. or Kat Von D. The famous tattoo artist was set to promote the upcoming season of her reality show, L.A. Ink., on Good Day L.A. Of course, the interview was also to come hot on the heels of her breakup with fiance Jesse James. Hardly one to play the diva card, Von D made only one request, according to TMZ. She asked that producers refrain from mentioning the couple's split when she was being introduced. But despite her request, she saw it all their in black and white on the teleprompter. Once again, she asked producers to pull any mention of their demise from the intro. Von D reveals to TMZ that she told producers if it wasn't changed, the show would go on with her. When it wasn't altered, Von D bolted. To save face - and we're not talking about the one of James tattooed on Von D's side -- an executive producer told the audience that Von D only requested that they didn't bring up Sandra Bullock or Michelle McGee -- a request they fulfilled. Regardless, Von D says she has no regrets about leaving L.A. Says Von D: "I have no interest in going back on, but I wish them all the best." Von D Tweeted, "Dear GoodDayLA, thanks for the waste of a perfectly good morning. Lack of compassion n respect for each other never fails to disappoint me." Considering a large part of the upcoming L.A. Ink season centers around her relationship with James, Von D was living in a dream world if she expected them not to mention the split.
