Jaden Smith is one kid who doesn't need an allowance. File this one under the rich get richer. If you're feeling insecure about your paycheck this week, you'll probably want to bypass this juicy little nugget of news. It turns out that 12-year-old Smith brought home a minimum of $3 million just for his work in the Karate Kid. Although he's not old enough to buy a car, a beer or even a house, he's got plenty of money to spend on video games... or even a whole arcade. TMZ got its hands on the contract belonging to the offspring of Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith to see exactly what kind of payout the child actor received -- and it's soul-crushing, especially when you consider he was only 10 at the time. How many kids or adults do you know that make a whopping $3 million for a job? Based on the legal docs, Smith took home his initial payday in two installments --one for $900,000 and the other for $100,000. He then bankrolled with a $2 million bonus because the film made more than $150 million domestically, says TMZ. As if that wasn't enough, the money is still rolling in based on additional contract perks and the continued success of the film. TMZ points out that he's still the poorest person in the Smith family. Being a kid is hard work.
