i wish couples would discuss their feelings about having kids before they get married. i have a child from my first marriage. met a guy who had never been married and had no kids. i believe that was one of the biggest discussions we had only after a month of dating...because i knew it was getting serious. he knew that he'd be okay with or without kids. (i didn't want anymore...well, i was 40.) this is such a major issue, why would this not be a major part of the decision whether to marry someone. unless maybe she said she wanted to start a family and has changed her mind. who knows. i like them both and wish them the best and hope they can work it out. oh, and, the national enquirer??? puhleeeze.
