Back in January, rumors began swirling about Johnny Depp and his longtime partner, Vanessa Paradis, splitting up, and it looks like those rumors were true. The two vehemently denied that dark shadows had been cast over their 14-year relationship, with Depp telling The Sun that the rumors were "lies" just one month ago. "No matter what I say about this, people believe the opposite. I can't say enough about it not being over," he said. But over it is, as the Pirates of the Caribbean actor's publicist issued the following statement Tuesday: "Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis have amicably separated. Please respect their privacy and, more importantly, the privacy of their children." Depp and Paradis share Lily-Rose, 13, and Jack, 10. Though they never married, the two were inseparable until recently, when Depp promoted his film Dark Shadows alone and Paradis walked the red carpet solo for her film's Paris premiere.
