Paris Hilton seems to have a major problem discussing minorities. Back in 2007, she was blasted for using the n-word in footage where she and her sister danced to Biggie Smalls' "Hypnotize." And just last year, Neil Strauss raised the racial flag in his memoir about chatting with an 18-year-old Hilton, who allegedly describes her disgust at discovering Vin Diesel's African-American heritage after going on a date with him. Now the Simple Life star is in the hot seat for a recorded conversation about gay men that she had in the back of a cab on Sept. 7. After being told how Grindr, a Web site gay men can use to hook up, works, Hilton is heard saying, "Ewwww...gay guys are the horniest people in the world. Most of them probably have AIDS...I would be so scared if I was a gay guy...you'll like die of AIDS." RadarOnline reports that Hilton's cab companion is an openly gay male model, and the cab driver was the one who taped the conversation. However, Hilton's spokespeople are saying the comments are taken out of context and released the following statement: "Paris Hilton's comments were to express that it is dangerous for anyone to have unprotected sex that could lead to a life threatening disease. The conversation became heated, after a close gay friend told her in a cab ride, a story about a gay man who has AIDS and is knowingly having unprotected sex. He also discussed a website that encourages random sex by gay men with strangers. As she was being shown the website her comments were in reference to those people promoting themselves on the site. The cab driver who recorded this, only provided a portion of the conversation. It was not her intent to make any derogatory comments about all gays. Paris Hilton is a huge supporter of the gay community and would never purposefully make any negative statements about anyone's sexual orientation."
