Even in death there are still money problems surrounding Corey Haim. According to Radaronline.com, there are outstanding expenses from the March 16 funeral of The Lost Boys star. The 38-year-old addict was destitute when he died suddenly a few weeks ago. And now the Corey Haim Memorial Fund is trying to recoup more money to pay for Lucas' final farewell. Although it was rumored that the city of Toronto was going to pick up the tab for the Canadian actor's send-off, that turned out to be bunk. Supposedly, the celeb memorabilia Web site Startifacts.com was going to donate $20,000 to cover the expenses. However, they came up short in their donation, according to Haim's Web site. A statement reads, "Unfortunately, the amount of donation the media has reported that Startifacts made to The Corey Haim Memorial Fund was less in actuality (they donated $10,000 rather than $20,000). This means that the funeral expenses have not been taken care of in their entirety. If you haven't donated and would like to, please know that donations are still very much needed." Ironically, Haim had struggled with money problems for most of his life. Despite a string of successful films and some straight-to-DVD bombs, Haim filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in 1997. Even back then, he had $100 to his name.
