It's a boy! After years of struggling to have a baby, Giuliana and Bill Rancic are parents of a healthy son. The couple is celebrating the birth of Edward Duke Rancic, who weighed in at 7 pounds, 4 ounces. Following the birth, proud pop Bill Tweeted, "The 'Duke' has landed! Edward Duke Rancic was welcomed into the world last night at 7lbs 4oz. G & I feel blessed beyond words...We did it!" Despite trying -- and failing -- at fertility treatments, the couple finally achieved success through a gestational surrogate. New mom Giuliana tells E! News, ""Bill and I are blessed beyond words to welcome Edward into our lives. Thank you so much to everyone who supported us along the way. We are so in love with the little guy already!" Both parents were in the delivery room when their baby arrived. According to E!, Bill played the doting dad, cutting the umbilical cord, while Giuliana was the first to hold her son. They then had the opportunity to feed little Duke. It's been a long, painful journey for the Rancics, which included a devastating miscarriage along with a breast cancer diagnosis. While preparing for a round of IVF treatments, doctors discovered a lump in the breast of the E! News host. At the time, the 37-year-old star of Giuliana & Bill made the difficult decision to undergo a double mastectomy so that there was no chance of the cancer returning. Throughout it all, the brunette beauty remained steadfast in her determination to have children. And now, she's finally succeeded.
