Prior to his recent stint at the Betty Ford Center for prescription pill addiction, Hollywood hunk Gerard Butler was a busy boy. Radaronline.com is reporting that the sexy Scot was carrying on a torrid affair with a married woman, who has since gotten divorced because of her extracurricular activities. The 300 actor was supposedly friends with the wannabe model/actress AND her second husband. But then things quickly got hot and heavy between Butler and the mystery woman, an insider tells Radaronline.com. The source reveals, "It was a very intense relationship. [She] had very strong feelings for Gerard, despite the fact that she was a newlywed at the time. They would exchange heated text messages, emails and phone calls. She would drop anything to be with Gerard. The two would hook-up at his hotel when he was in Los Angeles." It wasn't long before the twosome got caught. She promised to quit canoodling with Butler but never followed through. The insider adds, "[She] told her husband she would end things with Gerard and he agreed to give her another chance. However, the affair continued and she decided to file for divorce. [She] thought Gerard wanted to be in a relationship with her but then she found out he was involved with other girls, and hadn't been exactly honest with her about what was going on in his life." Ironically, the woman's first marriage ended as a result of her philandering with another famous celebrity. She was supposedly the "other woman" responsible for breaking up the marriage of rocker Dave Navarro and Baywatch babe Carmen Electra, as well as her own marriage. As for the unnamed woman, she denies the affair with Butler and says she met him one time at a movie premiere.
