Let the back biting begin. The producers of American Idol made the official announcement that they are ushering a panel of new judges in including Mariah Carey, Nicki Minaj and Keith Urban; veteran judge Randy Jackson will return for Season 12. Just one day into taping, show insiders say that the tension between the two female judges is apparent. One AI source tells TMZ that the women have already gotten off to a rocky start. Every time the larger-than-life "Starships" singer went to critique a contestant, Carey interrupted the 29-year-old superstar. In retaliation, Minaj would loudly overtalk the notorious diva. The insider says that although the two judges are trying to play nice, it's not there. The source adds, "These girls just don't like each other." Carey hasn't done much to welcome Minaj with open arms. When TMZ initially contacted her to inform her that Minaj was in the running as a fellow judge, the 42-year-old mother-of-two promptly hung up on the reporter. It looks like the real show this season will be at the judges' table, not on the stage. Idol host Ryan Seacrest attempted to start the season off on a high note, Tweeting, "It's official, your new #IdolJudges are @MariahCarey, @NickiMinaj, @KeithUrban & @Yo_RandyJackson! http://instagr.am/p/Po5T3JFWf1/. Everyone gave a heartfelt toast about being on the show after we ate last night. Cant wait to see the first contestants today. #IdolJudges."
