Former Fugees Singer Lauryn Hill Looking At Prison Time

Ready or not, Lauryn Hill, here they come... And by they, we mean the IRS. The former Fugees singer is facing three years in federal prison after failing to file tax returns. And don't chalk it up to the miseducation of Lauryn Hill -- the singer admitted to a judge that she "intentionally and willingly" did not file the tax returns. Late last week, the outspoken R & B singer pled guilty to not filing tax returns in 2005, 2006 and 2007. During that time, the 37-year-old mother of six earned $1.8 million. Considering how famous she is, that's actually kind of chump change. Another factor to consider -- the baby daddy of at least five of her children is Rohan Marley, son of famed reggae pioneer Bob Marley. She has never confirmed the father of her sixth child, born in 2011. In addition to a stiff prison sentence, Hill also faces a whopping $75,000 in fines. She was set free on $150,000 bail and will be sentenced this fall.
