Twin powers almost activated over the weekend, nearly sending Mariah Carey into labor. The Grammy-winning singer got a hospital scare on Saturday night when she started experiencing contractions. Carey, who's pregnant with twins by hubby Nick Cannon, isn't due until next month. She hit up the hospital to ensure that everything was OK and later Tweeted, "So #dembabies really wanted 2 celebrate w/us/share the anniversary! I started having contractions last night..went 2 the hospital. Finally they said I could come home after they got it under control. but hey almost came on 3/27- happy anniversary in deed!!!" While Carey's wedding anniversary isn't until April 30, the Precious actress came close to sharing her March 27 birthday with her two babies. The "Glitter" singer maintains that everything is currently as it should be. That should give Cannon more time to "man up," as he expressed concerns last week that he'll faint in the delivery room. Hopefully, Carey's baby daddy can work out those issues before the big arrival.
