Whitney Houston is welcome to party like it's 1999 any time, according to Prince. The Purple One is speaking out after reports surfaced that the drug-and-alcohol addicted singer was supposedly banned from his concerts. If a ban was instituted against the "I'm Every Woman" songstress, it most certainly didn't come from her fellow singer, according to TMZ. The site is reporting that Prince was unaware that someone in his camp blacklisted Houston from his concerts. In fact, his manager released a statement saying that "she's always welcome 4 all of eternity." Prince's manager added Prince likes having Houston in his crowd. An insider tells TMZ that the moratorium most certainly didn't come from the man formerly known as the symbol. Says the source, "Someone could have taken it upon themselves to say Whitney was banned ... but it did not come from Prince. Whoever decided Whitney was banned did not have the authority to do so." Despite being back on the hard stuff, Prince still treats Houston like royalty. He even brought her backstage when performing in Los Angeles.
