Miley Cyrus is looking to avenge her latest film's performance at the box office. That's because last week her movie LOL, costarring Demi Moore, opened in theaters across the country, but the money it raked in - or lack thereof - was no laughing matter. In the scant 105 theaters where it opened, LOL grossed just $46,500, according to Movie City News. Before taxes, that works out to about $440 per theater, "not enough to keep the lights on," according to one movie theater operator in Ohio, where approximately 12 patrons saw the film, the Los Angeles Times reports. LOL had been delayed in its release - it was made back in 2010 by Lionsgate and seemed to get lost in the shuffle recently. Big releases for Lionsgate recently have included The Hunger Games - which coincidentally starred Cyrus's boyfriend Liam Hemsworth -- and the upcoming What to Expect When You're Expecting. A lack of marketing contributed to the film's demise - Cyrus herself tweeted about the movie only once, did not do any press for it and there is just one trailer that exists online.

I guess no one wanted anyone to see this movie. Calm down it flopped. Stick to music Miley. I know Disney forces all of its child actors to have Acting/Singing/ and dancing chops, but sometimes its better to stick to what you know.
