When it comes to the relationship of Trace and Brenda, the fat lady has sung. Former Metro Station singer Trace Cyrus and Disney darling Brenda Song have called it quits. Last October, the odd couple shocked everyone by getting engaged. However, it appears their union couldn't go the distance. The heavily tattooed 23-year-old issued the following statement about the split: "Brenda and I have decided to go our separate ways. We split up a couple of months ago. We will continue to focus on our careers." Both Cyrus and Song have been increasing their profiles with Cyrus fronting the act Ashland High, and Song appearing in the mega-successful Facebook film The Social Network. Cyrus also added his well wishes for his former galpal, saying, "I wish Brenda the best and much success in the future. I hope everyone can respect our privacy about this situation." Although neither party has been linked to anybody romantically, Cyrus has a history of fishing off the Disney pier. He was also supposedly involved with Demi Lovato in the past.
