Getting an invitation to snort drugs from Courtney Love is hardly newsworthy, but one journalist was surprised at the Hole rocker's drug of choice during an interview. Neil Strauss, who wrote the soon-to-be-released rock expose' Everyone Loves You When You're Dead, shared the dirty deets of his escapades with Love. During an interview with Kurt Cobain's widow at her L.A. home, she allegedly leapt off her bed and instructed Strauss to "say hi to Kurt." Strauss recalled, "She walks to a dresser, pulls open a drawer, and removes a square-shaped tin. She removes the lid, revealing a plastic bag full of white ashes. A faint smell of jasmine emanates from the tin." Love then lamented Strauss's aversion to cocaine and suggested they "take a metal straw" and snort the ashes. Strauss obviously declined, but Love said she'd love to inhale her former lover. This isn't the first time a drug-addled rocker has wanted to cut coke with a loved one's remains - Keith Richards detailed snorting his own dad's ashes in his book.
