Dark Knight Rises actor Christian Bale is slowly transforming his reputation from hotheaded to bighearted. Although he's gotten flack over the years for his emotional outbursts and volatile ways, the star of the Batman franchise is managing to make amends through his good deeds. In his latest effort to give back, the 38-year-old Brit, known for his blistering temper, showed his softer side by flying cancer victim Jayden Barber and his family to Disneyland. Not only did he pick up the tab, but Bale, his wife and daughter also joined the Barber clan in the happiest place on Earth. The 4-year-old fought bone cancer for two years, which then turned into leukemia. He is currently in remission. Jayden's loved ones started the page Lighting the Batsignal for Jayden on Facebook because one of the little boy's wishes was to meet the real Batman. He got that...and then some. Jayden's mom Charlene wrote, "Finally can share!!! Christian sent us to LA and we had lunch at Disney club 33 on wed. He and his family were so awesome and down to earth!!!" She couldn't say enough about the real-life hero, "The entire interaction was like old friends having lunch. Jayden did not get star struck but was well aware of who we were with! They talked movies and super Heros an he was genuinely happy to hear about everything Jayden wanted to tell him. Christian, his wife and daughter are three of the most beautiful people we have ever met! Christian made these arrangements for us personally and ensured we were treated like royalty. I don't have even one negative thing to say about them. I can tell you that they were just as impressed w Jayden as Jayden was w them :)" Bale's latest gesture comes on the heels of the Dark Knight Rises tragedy. Following the shooting, which left 12 dead and 58 injured, Bale reportedly flew to Colorado to visit survivors of the massacre.
