They say it ain't so... By they, we mean Chris Martin's reps. Star magazine is reporting that Mr. Gwyneth Paltrow was caught in the act swapping spit with Blue Crush beauty Kate Bosworth. A source maintains that the 32-year-old "Viva La Vida" singer was "totally making out with Kate in front of other people." Of course, the Coldplay crooner's rep emphatically denies that Martin ever gave Bosworth any lip service saying, "This story is entirely untrue." Martin has been married to Paltrow for six years, although they've been plagued with rumors of marital strife from time to time. One source told Us Weekly that Star's sordid story, "simply never happened. She may have been in the same room with him, but he is not having an affair, was not kissing her or holding her hand." We're guessing it's more than likely a case of mistaken identity. Martin could easily pass for 26-year-old Bosworth's rumored new beau True Blood hottie Alexander Skarsgard. So Gwyneth can breathe a sigh of relief and return to GOOPing on why she hates America and loves her macrobiotic diet.
