Cat Cora's known for her culinary creations on Iron Chef, but she's now notorious - at least among Santa Barbara's uncool denizens. The chef got popped for a DUI on June 17, and she certainly didn't show the grace under pressure she's known for in the culinary world. Cora crashed into another car, TMZ reports, and when the driver got out and confronted Cora, she was livid to discover he was recording the encounter on his camera phone. The driver told TMZ he thought she was drunk and wanted evidence, but Cora went on a tirade, calling the driver a sad "nerd" who needed to get a life. Ultimately, the cooking queen was booked for DUI after she blew a .19 on a breathalyzer - she told cops she'd had three beers. She later released the following statement, once news of her tantrum spread: "I deeply regret my decision to drive that evening after my designated driver became unavailable. I learned a very important lesson from this experience and take full accountability for my actions." The DUI news recently came to light due to Cora going in to have her mugshot snapped.
