Old habits die hard, and nobody knows this better than recovering addict and actor Charlie Sheen. That explains why the 45-year-old A-lister is still trying to help ex-wife Brooke Mueller get off the rock. Lately, there's been talk that the co-dependent couple have been rekindling their romance. While that remains to be seen, Sheen is definitely trying to help the mother of his twin boys clean up her act. An insider tells TMZ that it was Sheen who put the kibosh on Mueller checking into a risky drug rehab in Mexico. According to the source, Sheen worried that his ex might die while taking the illegal drug that's used to treat addiction. In fact, Sheen was so concerned with Mueller's wellbeing that he personally flew down on a private jet and retrieved her. The Anger Management actor then called in his team of addiction specialists and placed Mueller in a safe house for treatment. The best part... he's doing it all on his dime. Now THAT is spousal support. It's anyone's guess whether or not her 16th attempt at rehab will actually garner any results. But judging by her track record, it doesn't look promising.
