Celine Dion's Titanic Mistake?

Who knew Celine Dion was a singer AND a coroner??? The Canadian crooner has raised eyebrows after boldly telling the audience of Good Morning America that it was drugs and Hollywood that killed the late Whitney Houston. The 48-year-old music legend was found dead in the bathtub at the Beverly Hills Hilton over the weekend. Although an official cause of death hasn't been given, Dion jumped the gun and chalked up Houston's passing to her well-documented struggles with drugs and alcohol. Dion told GMA, "It's just really unfortunate that drugs, bad people, bad influences took over her dreams, her motherhood. When you think about Elvis Presley, Marilyn Monroe, Amy Winehouse, Michael Jackson ... To get into drugs like that for whatever reason -- because of stress, bad influence, whatever." Dion says it is all of these untimely deaths that make her so leery of Hollywood. Dion adds, "Taking pills to go perform and taking pills to wake up and taking pills to go to bed. It's so unfortunate. There's something that happens that I don't understand, and that's why I'm so scared. I'm scared of show business. I'm scared of drugs. I'm scared of hanging out. That's why I don't do parties and I don't hang out. That's why I'm not part of show business. Because we have to be afraid." Although some critics feel the 43-year-old singer may have spoken out of turn regarding Houston's death, the fact remains that a host of sedatives were found in her hotel room. The good news for Dion is that Radaronline.com is reporting that preliminary autopsy results found benzodiazepines in Houston's system. So Dion's assumptions really weren't that much of a leap after all.
