![]() Legendary actor and filmmaker Dennis Hopper has been diagnosed with prostate cancer, according to his manager Sam Maydew. The Apocalypse Now star who's appeared in countless films over the past 50 years, including Rebel Without a Cause, Easy Rider and Hoosiers to name a few, checked into the hospital on September 30 with flulike symptoms and stomach pains. The following day, the 73-year-old was released. Hopper recently finished shooting the second season of Starz's Crash. One news station is reporting that the actor is being treated in a special program at the University of Southern California. Maydew said, "We're hoping for the best."
