Bristol Palin Gets Reality Check from Disney Star

Bristol Palin's new reality show just launched on Lifetime, and it's already chock-full of drama. But don't expect to see any of it on the series because it's all taking place behind the scenes. Palin's former bestie and fellow Dancing with the Stars cast member Kyle Massey and his brother Christopher are out for blood. The two guys say that they conceived the idea of a reality show for the country's most famous teen mom, who's now 21. According to a new lawsuit, Disney's Fish Hooks actor and his sibling came up with the idea to build a show around Palin, where both men helped the wannabe celeb raise her baby in Los Angeles. Supposedly, they even had a name for the show -- Bristol-ogy 101. The Masseys maintain that producer David McKenzie came along and pulled the red carpet right out from under them. McKenzie supposedly eliminated the Masseys and transformed the show into Bristol Palin: Life's a Tripp. Well, life won't be so trippy if the Masseys have their way. They are suing for some serious cash, saying they were entitled to $500,000 for their roles on the show. In addition, they want some moolah for developing the concept of the show. And last but not least, they want the show shut down altogether. Ironically, Palin herself is not being sued. So the blossoming reality star can breathe a huge sigh of relief, provided ratings don't do the show in before it ever gets off the ground.
