An illegitimate baby... A hunger for fame... A music video mocking his fiancée's family... When it comes to the straw that broke the engagement's back, take your pick. In what seemed like a fairytale ending, teen parents Bristol Palin and Levi Johnston had reunited and announced their plans to tie the knot. However, it was not meant to be. The 19-year-old daughter of former Vice-Presidential candidate Sarah Palin says that she was betrayed by her baby daddy. In fact, the young Palin says things went to downhill from the very day they went public with their plans to wed. Palin maintains that the antagonistic Alaskan pulled the wool over her eyes, starting out with his admission that he might have knocked up an ex-girlfriend during the time they had broken up. The girl denied that they had even shacked up. As if that wasn't bad enough, Johnston then headed to Hollywood under false pretenses, telling Palin that he was filming a hunting show when he was actually filming a parody gunning for her famous family. Palin tells People, "The final straw was him flying to Hollywood for what he told me was to see some hunting show but come to find out it was that music video mocking my family. He's just obsessed with the limelight and I got played." Although the teen mom may be feeling heartbroken and humiliated, it's obvious her mother is doing her best not to say "I told you so." The Republican candidate took the opportunity to openly bash her arch-nemesis and almost son-in-law. She tells People, "I wish for Bristol to be able to move forward in life with her same forgiving, gracious, optimistic spirit, but from henceforth she'll know to trust but verify. Bristol is strong, she is independent, and she knows what is right for her son." Bristol is now safe at home, residing with her parents out of the spotlight. As for Levi, he's been painting H-Town red and running around Hollywood hotspots. Insiders say he's doing just fine since the split and is concentrating on pitching a reality show. One thing he's not doing is wasting any time moving on. An insider tells Radaronline.com, "Levi was hanging out with a bunch of guys; they were talking about going out in LA." So much for settling down...
