Brangelina Engaged!

Despite the fact that everyone still can't get married, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are no longer going to let that hold them back. The kid-loving couple of seven years has decided to give into the pressures of their six children and tie the knot finally. According to Radaronline.com, Jolie's ring finger has a noticeable addition as of late, and it's nothing to scoff at. The Moneyball actor supposedly spent more than a year creating just the right bauble with famed jeweler Robert Procop for his bride-to-be. Although Brangelina has yet to speak out on their engagement, a rep for the famous jewelry designer confirmed that he did design the stunning piece. Says the rep, "I can confirm that, yes, Robert Procop did indeed design an engagement ring for Angelina Jolie, designed in collaboration with Brad Pitt." And it was no small feat for perfectionist Pitt. He was totally hands-on during the process, according to Procop: "Brad had a specific vision for this ring, which he realized over a yearlong collaboration. He wanted every aspect of it to be perfect, so I was able to locate a diamond of the finest quality and cut it to an exact custom size and shape to suit Angelina's hand. Brad was always heavily involved, overseeing every aspect of the creative design evolution. The side diamonds are specially cut to encircle her finger. Each diamond is of the highest gem quality." Procop is well-acquainted with the power couple -- he designed Jolie's jewelry for The Tourist, as well as a diamond pendant for Pitt last year. Many believed a marriage wasn't in the cards for the open-minded activists, especially considering their support for same-sex marriages. Last September, Pitt vowed to talk-show host Ellen DeGeneres that they wouldn't tie the knot until all people had the same rights. At the time he said, "I've said that we would not be getting married until everyone in this country had the right to get married." Even though it appears the couple may be reneging on that statement, Rebekah Orr, communications director for Equality California, says they are still fans of Hollywood's hottest couple: "Marriage is special and unique. Marriage says 'we are a family' in a way that no other word can. It appears that even Brad and Angelina's children understand the meaning of that special vow. We would never want any committed couple to deny themselves and their families the happiness and security that marriage brings."
