Brad Pitt Calling it Quits

Enjoy those Brad Pitt movies while you can. The Moneyball leading man says he's just three years away from retiring from acting. But fans, take heart! The 47-year-old is now clarifying his remarks, saying that although he won't be in front of the camera for much longer, he won't be completely out of the game. Pitt set hearts aflutter when he announced that he would quit acting at the age of 50. But he followed up by saying that it wasn't all black and white. Pitt admitted, "I wasn't actually putting an exact deadline on my expiration date [in Australia's 60 Minutes interview], but I see it coming. I just have other interests and I do quite enjoy the production side." The media feeding frenzy began when the Hollywood A-lister told Australia's 60 Minutes that he was looking to make a shift in careers. Pitt explained, "I am really enjoying the producing side and development of stories and putting those pieces together. Getting stories to the plate that might have had a tougher times [sic] otherwise." One project that is possibly in the works is more children. The proud papa of six says there is definitely room for another mouth to feed. Pitt revealed, "You know, I don't know that we're finished. I don't know yet. I don't know." Pitt isn't alone in his sentiments about getting out on the act. Pitt's partner Angelina Jolie told a reporter in August that she prefers being a mom to being an actress. At the time, she told The Financial Times, "As Brad and I get older we're going to do fewer films. I've been working for a long time, he's been working for a long time; we've had a nice run and don't want to be doing this our whole lives... I don't love it as much... I love being a mom."
