Boner Sightings Give Family Hope
Posted: Tuesday, February 23, 2010

Don't count Boner out as a stiff just yet. Police believe that Growing Pains star Andrew Koenig may be alive and as well as can be expected, based on new information. The actor, whose family and friends believe is suffering from depression, has been spotted around the Vancouver area. In addition, authorities are following up on other crucial information. Constable Tim Fanning tells Radaronline.com, "Electronic information leads us to believe that Andrew is still in the Vancouver area. We think Andrew is just lying low in Vancouver." Fanning added that they've been tracking his ATM card and phone usage. Despite the optimistic reports, Koenig's loved ones are still extremely worried about the 41-year-old thespian. "Andrew has been despondent and is going through a tough time. His family is very concerned." Koenig's parents became fearful of their son's fate when he failed to hop a plane and return to Los Angeles on February 18. Police said they'll continue their search for Koenig, "The evidence we have leads us to the fact that he is still in the Vancouver area. We are rehashing the evidence to see if there is anything we have missed." Even co-star Kirk Cameron, a born-again Christian, is reaching out to his former co-star to offer his healing hands. Cameron released the following statement, "I am praying for his family during this time of distress and for his safe return. Andrew, if you're reading this, please call me." Cameron added, "Mike and Boner could always work things out when they put their minds to it. I'm praying for you, pal. Hope to hear from you soon." Nobody gets Left Behind with Cameron!
