Super singer Beyonce wasn't playing any games when she supposedly caused a whopping 70 people to lose their jobs during the most wonderful time of the year. According to a new lawsuit filed by the video game company Gate Five, they were counting on the singer's Starpower: Beyonce to make a ton of money. Unfortunately, the big deal went belly up when Beyonce got greedy - at least that's the way Gate Five is telling it. The whole thing went down this past December when the company was in the midst of working on the long-awaited video game. The company maintains that during a "crucial moment in the project's development," the singer demanded even more money despite a pre-existing contract in place. Her diva-like behavior "drove 70 people into unemployment, the week before Christmas."They are calling her behavior "morally reprehensible." And now it's time for payback. Gate Five believes it's not only entitled to almost $7 million they invested into the project, but another $100 million in profits the video game "would" have made had the queen B not derailed the project.
