Ashton Kutcher must have been channeling his That '70s Show character Michael Kelso when he started cluelessly blabbing about the Penn State scandal this week. Although the troubled Two and a Half Men star has always played the role of an airhead on the big screen and the small screen, it seems he's now assumed the part in real life. Hot on the heels of Penn State firing longtime coach Joe Paterno amidst allegations that he knew an assistant coach had molested a child, the CBS sitcom star took to Twitter to blast the University's Board of Trustees for terminating the veteran coach. Too bad Kutcher only knew half the story at the time, proving he must be living under a rock these days. Kutcher Tweeted, "How do you fire Jo Pa? #insult #noclass as a hawkeye fan I find it in poor taste." It was only moments before some of his 8 million followers went after the 33-year-old, Tweeting responses such as, "F**k you. He covered up child rape you sick, geriatric f**k." The Tweets gave Kutcher enough of a reason to brush up on his current events. About 30 minutes later, the bubble brain replaced his original Tweet with: "Heard Joe was fired, fully recant previous tweet! Didn't have full story. #admitwhenYoumakemistakes." He continued to play spin doctor Tweeting, "This is an insane story, I just heard paterno was fired, getting the rest of the story now... Wow. As an advocate in the fight against child sexual exploitation, I could not be more remorseful for all involved in the Penn St. case." He also admitted that he is an idiot, and added, "Honestly just had half facts man my bad ... I need 2b more responsible 4 my voice." Kutcher is constantly being caught with his pants down these days, figuratively and literally.
