Teen Mom Catelynn Lowell and longtime beau Tyler Baltierra are about to experience parenthood for the first time. Despite giving birth to their daughter three years ago, the mature couple decided they were incapable of raising the baby at the time. They opted to put their little girl up for adoption. Now 20, older and wiser, Lowell and Baltierra believe they are up for the challenge this time around. In Touch magazine broke the story and quoted a friend of the MTV reality star as saying that Catelynn initially "was nervous and scared." But another source maintains she never had any doubts on how she would proceed. The insider tells In Touch, "This time, she knew immediately that she wanted to keep the baby. She's just so happy." Although their journey has been an emotional one, both Lowell and Baltierra still believe they did the right thing for their daughter. Baltierra writes on their Web site, "We chose [adoption] with one person in mind -- our daughter, because she deserved the best and at the time I couldn't provide her the best. As a parent, I made the greatest sacrifice in order to provide her with the best life." On the site, Baltierra lists his plans for the future to become a youth counselor for troubled youth. They both plan to attend Baker College this year.
