Amy Winehouse: Back to Whack

In what is likely one of the craziest things Amy Winehouse will ever do, the trouble-plagued addict is set to wed her enabler/ex-husband and junkie-in-crime Blake Fielder-Civil. Just months after their divorce, the disastrous duo is set to tie the knot in Winehouse's favorite watering hole, St. Lucia. Talk about a match made in hell. Winehouse told friends that she's just waiting for Blakey to wrap up his stint in rehab, which is where he actually knocked up a fellow patient while he was still married to Wino. Although both Fielder-Civil and Winehouse have supposedly kicked their nasty drug habits, the "Rehab" singer is still drinking like a fish and was arrested recently for assault. Some things never change, which is likely a bad sign of things to come for both Fielder-Civil and Winehouse, the modern-day Sid and Nancy. We're guessing the ceremony won't be a family affair. For starters, Winehouse's dad Mitch and her mother are strong opponents of her jailbird ex. And Winehouse is apparently seething at her pop after he spoke out about her struggle with substance abuse in a documentary. After the television show aired last week, Winehouse Twittered, "'WHY don't my dad WRITE a SONG when something bothers him instead of going on national tv? An you thought YOUR parents were embarassing [sic]." Dad Mitch didn't mince words about Fielder-Civil either, "Blake is a self-confessed liar. According to the paper he begged Amy to stop taking drugs. He was the one giving her drugs. He was the one who switched her on to Class A drugs in the first place - not my words, his words. Everybody knows who he is. The newspapers have got to take his oxygen away from him, who wants to hear from this absolute nobody?" Ironically, Mitch later says, "Hopefully she'll settle down and meet a nice Jewish cabbie and give me some grandchildren." Like the Rolling Stones say, you can't always get what you want, Mitch.
