It was hardly a merry Christmas for Teen Mom Amber Portwood who was thrown behind bars last week. Apparently probation wasn't enough of a deterrent for the 20-year-old reality star to curb her bad habits. Just a week and a half ago, the MTV fixture failed to show up for her probation appointment. So officers figured they would pay the troubled teen mom a house call. And they definitely didn't like what they found. Portwood was "very groggy." In addition, she had a slew of narcotics without a prescription, which is a major no-no. Among the drugs she had stockpiled were 32 Hydrocodone pills, 6 Soma pills, 2 muscle relaxers, 3 other Hydrocodone pills and 1 pill they couldn't even identify. Portwood maintains that she couldn't produce a prescription because "her housekeeper throws all that kind of stuff away." And by housekeeper she means the tooth fairy. We suppose the dog ate her homework as well. Portwood will likely sit in jail until at least January 13. From there, we're betting she's rehab-bound. Lately the clink has become like a second home to Portwood.
