Despite being repeatedly arrested, Amber Portwood still has faith in the system. In fact, she's pretty certain that her imminent prison sentence is the only way for her to get clean. The Teen Mom star has violated her probation time and time again. This past January, the 22-year-old MTV star was remanded to rehab after being busted for possession. At the time, Portwood was given a whopping five years in prison. However, she was allowed to participate in a court-ordered drug program. If she completed it, Portwood would be given a fresh start. But less than six months later, Portwood is throwing the book at herself. According to TMZ, the mother of one asked a judge to put the five-year prison sentence back in place. She confessed that she hasn't managed to stay off drugs during her time on the outside. In fact, TMZ is reporting that she actually told the judge she will always be a "bad girl." While her attorney stood by awestruck, Portwood asked to be thrown behind bars. Supposedly, Portwood has been taking Suboxone, an opiate similar to morphine. Police tell TMZ she even scored on the streets while in rehab. It's apparent that Portwood realizes she has a problem -- she thinks prison is the only way to clean up her act. This week, Portwood will learn her fate and find out exactly how much time she will spend behind bars.
