Queen of all Media Oprah Winfrey and rapper 50 Cent have apparently called a truce. On her new OWN show Next Chapter, Winfrey has a candid chat with the "Candy Shop" singer where she lets it all hang out. 50 Cent and Winfrey have been at odds since she made it her personal mission to go after hip-hop artists for their use of the n-word and their attitudes toward women. The media maven's movement was something that Fiddy took personally. To stick it to her, 50 named his dog Oprah. It was a gesture that Oprah didn't take too kindly to. She bluntly addresses the issue, telling 50, "I heard you have a dog named Oprah ... that was not a compliment." After being put on the spot, the rapper tries to skirt the subject, saying, "I love you ... you know how they say a dog is a man's best friend?" He eventually clears the air explaining from where the hard feelings came: "I would see moments where you would discuss your feelings on the culture, and everything that was wrong with the culture was on my CD ... and I was like, 'She doesn't like me.' At the time, I was just looking at the situation and I saw I was developing negative feelings for someone who doesn't even know me." To add insult to injury, he named his cat Gayle -- Gayle King has long been rumored to be more Winfrey's lover than BFF. But all's well that ends well. Fiddy goes on to say that he treats his Oprah (and Gayle) like true queens -- pampering them and even hiring a pet sitter when he's out of town.

At least he is taking the smart road and just letting things be. He might want to rename his pets. SMH
