Never one to shy away from the limelight, Michael Lohan is coming clean about his role in Octomom's rehab stint. According to the d-bag dad, he was successful in getting mother of 14 Nadya Suleman to check into a treatment program for her prescription pill problem. TMZ is reporting that while Lohan was unable to pull off an intervention for his own daughter Lindsay, he had a much better time getting Octo to admit she has a problem (Xanax, to be precise). Michael tells TMZ that he was approached by the amateur porn star's manager Gina about her client's substance abuse problems. As it so happens, Michael has spent the past nine months staging interventions for people using his nonprofit organization based in sunny Florida. After hearing about Octo's issues, Lohan pulled some strings and got her into a treatment program. Lohan admits that Suleman did her part. He tells TMZ, "The most important thing is the willingness to realize and surrender to the issue and commit to getting help, which Nadya did!" In a shameless plug, he also promotes his pals at the Chapman House for their role in helping Suleman. Says Suleman, "If it wasn’t for her manager Gina, my good friend, Tim Chapman at the Chapman house/Teen savers and Gina's daughter, this would not have been possible. They deserve a lot of credit!" According to TMZ, the Chapman House offered to pick up the tab on Suleman's stay. Hey, there's no publicity like good publicity. Now, if only Lohan had the same run of luck with troubled trainwreck Lindsay.
