Just because Chevy Chase plays a racist on television, he definitely doesn't want to come across as one in real life. The 69-year-old veteran comic isn't laughing over the development of his character Pierce Hawthorne on Community. In fact, he's so pissed with the way in which his television alter-ego is being portrayed that he actually dropped the "n" bomb late last week. According to Deadline.com, the former SNL staple interrupted a scene and went on an angry rant. He basically said that with the way things were going, he'd soon be expected to call his fellow actors the n-word. Deadline.com made it clear that Chase in no way called his co-workers the racial slur. Unfortunately, the meltdown left everyone on the set upset. Chase later apologized for losing his cool. It's not the first time that Chase's problems with the show have gone public. Last year, he left a nasty voice mail for boss Don Harmon. He also has walked off set after getting angry.
