Back to The Rind: How it's Done
- 2 cups seeded watermelon chunks, including the rind
- 1 cup cracked ice
- 1/2 cup plain yogurt
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/8 teaspoon almond extract
- Combine all ingredients in a blender.
- Blend until smooth.
Orange rinds are usually easy to remove using your fingers, but you can use a knife if you like. A lemon zester works to grate the skin.
