Some of these comments infuriate me. I think if you read this article and you have brushed it off as nonsense, then you are in denial. The wolf is always at the door and if you are not having sex with your significant other, than somebody else is having sex with them. Women are so quick to say "not my husband".. this has got to be one of the most vague and misleading articles i have read in a while. Please people, do not be narrow minded and believe what is said here. In most states, it is a crime to spy, via keylogging software on your spouse. You might think not, but it is a felony under current federal guidelines. It's called wire-tapping, and though you aren't exactly tapping someone's phone, you are, in essence doing the same thing by snooping. If the trust issues are so bad, I'd recommend a counselor, instead of software. If you are really suspicious, offer your spouse an "open" relationship, and guage their reaction to your offer. This is a horrible article. If you think your spouse or boyfriend/girlfriend is cheating on you, figure out why you think that, without spying on them, then talk with them about it. If you find you can't talk with them about, if you aren't yet married, you should consider breaking up, because you shouldn't be in a relationship where you are worried about the other person cheating. If you are married, thus committed to the relationship, get help from a couple that you trust not to gossip about the situation. If someone is having sex on the side it is because their needs are not being met. A lot of time people enter into a relationship that takes care of 80% of their needs and that is ok while the relationship is new. They will find a way to fill the other 20% sooner or later. This may or may not be an end to it. Some find that they are not missing anything and settle down. Some find the missing part becomes the most important part until faced with loosing the other 80. So the question is weather you can handle the other % being taken care of by someone else. I personally do not think anyone can fill 100% of the needs of their partner. I figure if they need a little on the side once in a while to take care of the itch and is otherwise a good relationship that it is something to think about. It is like the old saying, I know who they are coming home with. People are way too freaked out about it, it happens, deal with it and move on. Been there done it and had it done....relationship is fine. If you think yours is perfect be ready to have it blow up if you are not able to accept your partner for who and what they are. Just because someone is not "having their needs met" does not give them license to cheat. If you are so miserable in a relationship that you begin to consider straying, there are only two acceptable routes for you to take. 1) You approach your partner and tell him/her that you are feeling unfulfilled and alone. Ask him or her to work with you to repair your relationship. 2) You approach your partner and end things with them.

A real, grown-up relationship between two people that love and respect each other leaves no room for infidelity. If you are with another person and have declared yourselves exclusive, there is never an excuse to cheat. MY husband, got on dating sites,posted himself,used his cell phone to call these women,whom he says he felt sorry for due to their self destructive behavior of ETOH,drugs,and divorce.

When I see things like this it drives me cra zy. Probably at various points in my life I exhibited various of these behaviors for various reasons, but I have never cheated on my wife (either physically or emotionally). The problem is that people read this as verbatim evidence that their spouse is cheating. Once paranoia plants the seed of doubt, it is extremely hard to prove your innocence. That is very destructive to an otherwise good relationship. I have no doubt that these behaviors are sometimes exhibited by cheaters when you look back in time, but most of the time they are just simply signs of just wanting to be more appealing to their spouse, or maybe they had a bad day, or problems at work, or any of a thousand innocent reasons. What a load of crap. When my ex-wife and I were married, every morning, for 6 solid years, I made her coffee - EVERY MORNING! It may sound small, but it meant the world to her that I always remembered to do something so nice, with no gain on my part, and only for her.

As the article notes, during the course of marriage, we often let our appearance slide. So when she started manicuring her nails, it made her hands look amazing! And that prompted me to start whitening my teeth. Then, after the birth of our son, she began dieting and exercising to get back into shape. That made me want to start losing weight (of which I lost 35 lbs.) so I would look good FOR HER...so we could look good TOGETHER.

This seems to be a no win situation. A few years ago I started to realize how wonderful my wife really was and I started to shave on the weekends (on my day off I would give my face a rest). I also bought new clothes for myself and took her shopping on my card. I also made it a plan to take her to nice restaurants on a much more regular basis than before. I tried initiating more love making not just quick sex. The result was that she became suspicious of me, even though I was innocent of any wrong doing. She finely divorced me. and moved out. After a wile I was cleaning up and found her 'stash' of women magazines and she had highlighted articles of how to tell if a husband is cheating on you. I finely had my answer ! I do like that if anyone has any expectation of privacy, then they CLEARLY have something to hide. I will only say this- ladies, if you go as far as installing a keystroke recorder and start hacking email accounts, you better be sure that you are with a cheater - because if you are not, you will be alone.
