Jared Fogle Subway Diet fad diets fast food healthy lunches obesity sandwiches weight loss

To drop more than 200 pounds, Fogle ate the same thing every day: no breakfast, 6" turkey sub and a bag of baked chips for lunch and a 12" veggie sub for dinner, topped with nothing but extra vegetables. Plus unlimited diet soda throughout the day. Jared's calorie intake was under 1,000 calories daily. The diet might have quickly become boring and unbearable to many people, however, Jared stuck with it.
Throughout his weight loss passage, Jared consulted his father, a physician, for medical advice to ensure that he was getting the proper amount of vitamins and minerals. Since the crusade that made Jared a household name, many others have followed in his footsteps. Subway has even become a leader in providing healthy, convenient fast food options with its menu of 6" inch sandwiches under 6 grams of fat.
Experts recommend that you consult your doctor before taking a trip on the Subway.

Anyway, I am proud of you. However, some people's comments are positive and others negative. Some are educated and others, well, not as much. Many people have dietary needs and have different taste buds, habits, and even have certain restrictions - ie.allergy. Many of Sub-way MEATS are PROCESSED, making all of them not healthy. They are loaded with salt. Personally, I can only eat Subway SALAD......due to the latter. So, those who wish to begin a diet, consult a nutritionist, dietitian or someone more educated with diets and personal needs. The answer to most weight loss is MODERATION....DO NOT DEPRIVE YOURSELF A SMALL PORTION OF THOSE "BAD OR FATTENING FOODS". You'll do what most people do when they "go off their diets" after reaching their goal....GAIN IT ALL BACK PLUS SOME. Proper, well-balanced diet, proper 4-6 meals throughout the day, and exercise is the SMARTEST WEIGHT LOSS PLAN. Even around "HOLIDAYS AND SPECIAL OCCASIONS"...Be OK with yourself to "cheat" today....enjoy your food choice....that is what makes it "enjoyable, satisfying and gets one over the crave of a binge or dread that you can't have it crap... to celebrate. One cannot live on a diet their entire life and never have that forbidden food.
Jared was very overweight...obese...OK, so, the "crash" diet / calories worked for him. And, I am proud that he keeps his weight under control....realize that (it is said) he skipped breakfast. That is a dieters NO-NO. Everyone needs to wake their body up first thing in the morning after the "sleep fast", if you will. Eat a protein/carb combo....have a piece of fruit...something to begin the burning fuel engine.....If one eats 4, 5, or even 6 small smart choice meals/ snacks throughout the day, it will keep your metabolism rate up and you wont be as hungry, hence small meals will become satisfying.........that's my "free" advise. Good luck to all of us who maintain weight or have as little as 3 lbs to over 100 lbs. desired to lose. Remember that YOU are NOT alone. At one point or another, EVERYONE watches their diet! G-d Bless! Judy :-)
This is a good place to eat out and not feel guilty.
I am so glad that this board has a very positive tone and everyone is very supportive and encouraging. Good luck to all of you fighting the "battle of the bulge" I think I will give subway a try and see how it works for me because sometimes you need to change up your routine so it does not become monotnous and boreing.
