If you were to follow a McDonald's diet, there are plenty of options on the menu a bit more healthy than the typical burger and fries. A Honey Mustard Snack Wrap with Grilled Chicken will set you back only 260 calories and 9 grams of fat. The Southwest Salad with Grilled Chicken comes in at 320 calories and 9 grams of fat, while the fruit 'n yogurt parfait has just 160 calories and 2 grams of fat.
Registered dietitian Dawn Jackson Blatner says that while a McDonald's-only diet might help take off the pounds -- it will not keep them off. There is simply not enough variation to stick to the diet long-term.
