Unlike the promise of quick fixes or overnight successes like other fly-by-night plans, Jenny Craig calls for a more objective approach to dieting that upholds three main concepts: a good relationship with food, an active lifestyle and a balanced approach to living.
Jenny Craig provides each member with a well-rounded program that's designed with that person especially in mind. There are three different kinds of membership (trial, gold and platinum), tweaked to suit the needs of a diverse clientele.
Before joining, possible members complete a one-page health profile to ensure that the program can meet their needs. Once the first consultation is finished, the member will meet one on one with a representative on behalf of Jenny Craig to receive a meal plan that is personalized, a customized fitness program, motivational tools and weight-loss manuals for additional guidance.

The food can get old if you keep making the same choices. You have to diversify. Also, there are so many ways to improve the food too..example: pesto pizza alone is okay but way better if you add some veggies like, mushrooms, tomatoes, onions, jalapenos, spinach, brocco li etc. whatever veggie you like and cook it extra long so it is super crispy (this makes the time to eat it way longer and more satisfying to me)..I eat one of these every day with a salad and a bag of 100 calorie popcorn (not Jenny Craig brand lol) Also, for breakfast, I add a banana to every meal for a great fill.
The longer you are an active member, the more you save on your weekly bill. I get 30% discount and it only cost me $35 each year. It cost me about $65.00 a week to $75.00 depending what items I choose (frozen products are more expensive then dried) but that means with dairy and fruit and veggies, I am spending just about as much as I was before because I ate out, had leftovers that I ended up tossing every week and I always bought too much fruits and veggies that they would go bad before I could use them. The good thing about being on this diet is that you know exactly how many fruits etc. you need for the week. I actually spend wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy less by using this diet....and when I am out and need a treat, I DO go to Subway and get a 6 inch veggie delight with mustard, bag of baked chips and a soda and I count those calories in for the day.
Remember this one thing about dieting...you see food and you can have anything you want..anything at all but if you are interested in losing weight, you simply choose to say this statement (I can have anything I want but I CHOOSE not to have that..) Giving yourself the powerful choice, makes all of the difference in your success. Also, if you do have that something "bad" once in a while ..so what..get over it..just move forward with your diet at your next meal. You should never feel deprived either..have a bite and it will satisfy you and not ruin your whole day. Seriously, people fail if they feel deprived and binge...no more need to binge if you choose to watch you calorie intake... REMEMBER THIS IF YOU REMEMBER NOTHING FROM THIS RESPONSE if you see that apple pie staring at you and you are salivating (lol), "I CAN HAVE THAT APPLE PIE IF I WANT IT BUT I CHOOSE NOT TOO THIS TIME" "I WILL THINK ABOUT THAT TOMORROW LOL! Good luck with your new way of life. Putting on pants that you don't have to unzip when you sit is soooooooooo liberating...GO FOR IT!
