When you think you need a cookie, replace it with an apple. Dive into fruit salad, a peach or an orange. You can consume more of these and not gain one pound. At night eat a bowl of grapes.

FIND A HOBBY

Studies show that people tend to eat more when they are bored. When you eat sugar your body is seeking pleasure. Give your body pleasure in other ways. Join a kickboxing class. Learn how to paint. Get a massage. Volunteer at a nursing home. When you fill your time, you'll be less likely to think about sweets as much.
